Overview

The ASUS eee PC's are ultra-portable highly affordable laptops and amongst the smallest laptops around, about the size of a hardback book running the Linux operating system. With 40 application software packages pre-loaded including, Windows compatible, Internet, Media Services, Word Processing, Spreadsheet and Presentation software.

The eee PC features: Integrated WiFi 802.11b/g network adaptor, 3 x USB ports, RJ-45 network port, VGA port, SD card slot, integrated stereo speakers, microphone, and earphone sockets. 512MB RAM, 900MHz Celeron M processor capable of running Windows XP, and 2GB Solid State Drive. The 7" TFT colour screen, hard case and solid state architecture make it a small and very robust package, well able to cope with the all rigours of school life. Battery life is up to 3.5 hours depending on usage.
