It provides teachers with flexibility for creating tests anytime, anywhere, from anyComputer. AlphaQuiz stores up to four tests on each AlphaSmart NEO, so teachers can give tests on multiple subjects or topics.~ AlphaQuiz SmartApplet System is an integrated classroom testing solution including test design, delivery, automatic marking, reporting, and analysis. It provides teachers with flexibility for creating tests anytime, anywhere, from any computer (Windows or Macintosh). Support for four question types (true/false, multiple choice, short answer, and essay) lets teachers tailor tests tomeet curriculum needs. Automated marking with QuizManager corrects an entire class of tests instantly for all question types (except essay).

AlphaQuiz stores up to four tests on each AlphaSmart device, so teachers can give tests on multiple subjects or topics. Flexible reporting and analysis enables teachers to assess student performance quickly and pinpoint problem areas. Up to eight students can share a single AlphaSmart device for taking tests, while preserving files used for word processing tasks.

The AlphaQuiz System consists of AlphaQuiz SmartApplet and two applications for Windows and Mac OS, QuizDesigner and QuizManager.

Word Processing: Neo comes with pre-installed AlphaWord Plus, an enhanced word processor that includes spell-check, thesaurus, word and page count and KAZ Touch Typing Tutor. With 700 hours battery life and direct print via USB or wireless infra red the NEO can be used in any classroom or even outside of school. Neo can also be used for initial word-processing tasks, letting students concentrate on the task of creative writing before transferring this text to a desktop computer for further enhancement or development with graphics and styles.

Curriculum Resources: With supplied AlphaSmart Manager software, the Neo has the ability to download linked files for rubrics, homework instructions, or reference materials . You can also install a Spanish-English word lookup facility on to the Neo.
